It all seems very complicated and confusing to a warrior like myself. But I'm very happy about the buff to ritualists. I'v been waiting to play mine. But now I'm right back in the boat I was in before! Do I get rid of my paragon for an assassin? Do I get rid of my ranger for a mesmer?
DOH!!!!
I think I'm gonna just break down and buy two more character slots so I can enjoy each friggin profession.
No more constant KD with assassins now? Hope not. Tired of running an anti KD build, they're boring.

however.... i honestly cant agree with the change to CoP. if it truly was that powerful tie it to FC as it should have been in the first place and as it is with other skills of the type.. this was a truly bad move imo

Must say, I'm not a real big fan of al those skill updates true time.
but this one has some good ones. The only thing Ill think is unnessesary
is the Suffering nerf in PvE.. it was one of my favorites hex triggers
with well of Sillence. havnt tryd it out, yet, will do it this evening.
And than i'll wil see if it is still as usefull.
Anet keep on the good work...
But still give me more content and more hero's to use,

rit was the very first class in gw I really got into, but over time the waves of nerfs left me dissillusioned and I found my calling with necro, while I still absolutely love necro (for far more than n/rt which I actually never used myself) I am absolutely ecstatic at the prospect of getting my old rit out in earnest again. TY TY TY Anet!!! My first favorite character is new again!
as for "We Shall Return!" looks like i'm not gonna step outside of an outpost in the desolation without someone bringing Vocal Minority anymore (could we get this put on eve's skillbar by chance?). I mean ok 2 varieties of enemies in a mob packing rez that's plenty, it's bad enough already when you get the mob of 2 monks and 3 paras, with an instant cast area rez on top of that it just sounds ridiculous.
(although all in all the para pve buffs look wonderfully delicious)

Decent update
Rit & Para luvvin was much needed! (although this is pve only )
CoP reasonably nerfed, RoJ scatters (which is more of a bug imo) & the PS balance is about right, although I still think 7r is too fast, maybe should be 10e 10r?
at first I thought the necro nerf were uncalled for but when you take into account that healing was lowered slightly I suppose it makes some sense
Only things they really missed were pvp builds Bspam & MB ele
But this is about the best balance they have provided in the past 6-12 months, hopefully this will continue in upcoming balances and updates
Makes me happy to say GG A-net for this one.

Under normal circumstances I'd congratulate Anet at their job of this skill update. Around 50% of all broken, underpowered, and overpowered skills and professions have been fixed in one update, which is very nice. Hopefully next month we'll see the nerfage of SF, SY (which is viable for a nerf now since para's in general have been made effective again), MB, consets, and perhaps Discord. After that we'll be able to go back to buffing and balancing skills that have Smiters Boon'd skills into play again.
However, after last week's fiasco on Anet informing the community, and this week's fiasco on distributing the Zkeys appropriately, and the several crash bugs that have already been observed since the update, congratulating them would be out of place. Anet only made up for their mistakes.

Zzz, CoP should have been changed, but not in this way. It was overpowered when used by eles or necros with huge energy management - but this way mesmers, with little other strong skills in PvE, have to suffer too.
Oh well, at least the price of Armbraces will rise.

That and the cripple escape are about the only things being effected here. Still that doesn't make horns of ox/falling spider builds any less useful...

Exciting update. I'll check the effects in-game later today.
Although at first sight...the change to spawning power doesn't do anything for weapon spells that end on a trigger.

Not a bad update..
I like the fact that they nerfed RoJ, SH and CoP and especially LC, WN, Palm Strike VoR and CoP.
It's good to see RTs back in the game. They will most likely be used as midliners/spike support/party buff/healing(Spawning Power: increased effect on Weapon Spells to 4% per rank., nuff said >.<). And the .75 casting for PvE and extra hard spirits=abuse mah. Ain't gonna see a lot of E/Rt, N/RT etc it seems and welcome back Rt/A flag runners lolz. Now do something about Tactics and/or Strength NAO.
Buff to Paras(PvE, PvP is ok I guess).. Meh, why buff the buffed? Though other classes can "borrow" their skills now too..
But plox, SY.. Make it a strength attribute or something.
And last, but not least, SF plox. *hands nerfbat* NAO.

I keep thinking they may give it a different effect or something. Be surprising if they replaced health loss with skills disabled for X amount of time, or something.

Yeah. I guess this is the result of the hate towards Lingering Curse: "Balanced till totally useless."
Who is going to use this with an energy cost of 15. This is almost back to the 25 energy cost version it once was, which had much more severe healing reduction.
Weaken Knees, OK... maybe I could live with that. But they did nothing to make Necros more attractive in various PvP modes.
Seems auto-attacking stuff to death is seen as more acceptable than hexing someone.
The other nerfs were following the stone old and flawed formula:
NERF THE CURRENT META.
+ add some random buffs to classes that have severe issues.
Like the many Ritualist and Paragon Buffs that I do not want to comment on yet before taking a closer look at them.
The Rit spell of choice, Weapon of Warding, on the other hand was nerfed once more. OK, I did not check Spawning power changes yet... still.
Edit: Oh, the Cry of Pain nerf is funny: "Cryers now cry for half damage" keke
And RoJ is fine. (?)
